79th Queen of the Candles Pageant
The pageant will be telecast live on Blue Ridge Cable 11 at 5:00PM, July 4, 2020.
Around 6:00 PM Listen for the "not-a-parade", with sirens of local fire, police and EMS vehicles in various neighborhoods in and around Lititz.

Emily Kate Bromirski
Emily is the daughter of Mike and Sarah Bromirski. She is being escorted by her father. In her senior year, Emily was involved in Unite, Interact, PALS, Link Crew and Student Council. She was a member of the National Honor Society, English National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and the Science National Honor Society, for which she was president. She was also captain of the Warriorettes Dance Team. In December, she was named Lititz Rotary’s Student of the Month. Outside of school, she dances at Pulse Dance Studio, a competitive dance company. She has been dancing of 12 years and is currently a volunteer assistant dance teacher. Emily works as a lifeguard and swim instruction at Woodridge Swim Club in the summer. She plans to attend Penn State University’s main campus to study biology and eventually become a genetic counselor. Her favorite memory of high school was when the football team beat Manheim Central and the fans stormed the field.
Amelia Grace Brown
Amelia is the daughter of Steve and Brooke Brown. She is being escorted tonight by her father. Amelia was a team captain for the Warwick Girl’s Soccer Team. At the end of the season, she was named to the Lancaster Lebanon All Star 2nd Team. Along with school soccer, she also played soccer for the club team AFC United. She was Co-Vice President of the Interact Club and a member of the English National Honor Society. She plans to attend Shippensburg University in the fall, majoring in Marketing and playing college soccer. Her favorite memories of high school were going to football games and sitting in the student section and spending time with her favorite people in Mrs. Gleason’s room during 5th period.
Rylee Sue Diffenderfer
2020 Queen of the Candles!
Rylee is the daughter of Joshua and Christina Diffenderfer. She is being escorted by her father. Rylee was co-captain for the Warwick Field Hockey Team. She was vice-president of the student council, PALS leader, club leader for Women of the Future and a member of UNITE. She is also a member of the National Honor Society, English National Honor Society, and Spanish National Honor Society. In November, she traveled to the Dominican Republic on a service trip to help young students learn English. She was awarded the Linda Shelley Spirit Award at the LL League All Star Banquet and was recognized as a Lititz Woman’s Club Senior of the Month. Rylee plans to attend Rider University to study special education and continue her field hockey career. She hopes to one day become a special education teacher, travel the world, and raise a family. Her fondest high school memories are doing Unified Track and being a teacher’s assistant in Mrs. Morris’s class.
Lauren Elizabeth Epps
Lauren is the daughter of Tim and Mary Epps. She is escorted by her father. Lauren has been actively involved in music in high school. She was president of concert choir, and a four year member of Show Choir and the musicals. During her senior year, she was able to play one of her dream roles: Fiona, in Shrek the Musical. She is very grateful that they were able to put on the show. Lauren also made All-State Chorus for the second time. She’d like to thank Mrs. Kline-Smith for all the opportunities that she’s given to her. Lauren is treasurer of student council and a LINK crew leader. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society and was vice-president of Tri-M Music Honor Society. In the fall, Lauren plans to attend the University of Pittsburgh to major in Business and minor in Music. Her favorite high school memories include Mr. Minnich’s Calc Class and being Mrs. Plumb’s TA. She’d like to thank her family for supporting her through everything.
Julia Katherine Eshleman
Julia is the daughter of Kenneth Eshleman and Jennifer and David Weiser. She is being escorted tonight by her father. Julia was a member of the Warwick High School Field Hockey Team. She also played for ABC field hockey club team. Her club team competed in the National Indoor Tournament last February. Julia is a member of the Link Crew. She was a member of the German National Honor Society. Outside of school, Julia works part-time at the New Main Theater in Ephrata. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends going out to eat and playing with her dog Bexley. She plans to attend Pace University in Pleasantville, NY to major in Nursing. She will continue her field hockey career at Pace University. Her fondest high school memory was during a hockey game against Manheim Township. Being down 0-1 with only 3 minutes left, she took a pass back from Meghan Quinn and sent the ball into the goal. The team went on to win in overtime.
Michelle Lynn Gibble
Michelle is the daughter of Scott and Laura Gibble. She is being escorted by her father. Michelle was in the UNITE Club and oversaw Warwick’s Mini-THON to raise money for children with pediatric cancer. She was president of student council and was involved in Women of the Future and Link Crew. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, and English National Honor Society, for which she was vice president. She is a tour guide at Julius Sturgis Pretzel Bakery and also a hostess at Rachel’s Creperie. Michelle plans to attend Brown University to study biomedical engineering. Her fondest high school memory is of volunteering with Women in Business.
Carlie Elizabeth Martin
Carlie is the daughter of Dean and the late Sara Martin. She is being escorted tonight by her father. Carlie was a member of the Warwick Girl’s Soccer Team the Warwick Lacrosse Team, for which she was Team Captain. Carlie also participated in Link Crew, Unite, Interact and FCA. She was a member of the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society. Carlie is a member of Ephrata Community Church and participates in her church youth group. She plans to attend Eastern University to major in nursing. Her favorite memories of high school are sitting in the student section with her friends at all the football and basketball games.
Lily Cristina Palacio-Lewis
Lily is the daughter of Scott and Claudia Lewis. She is being escorted by her father. Lily was manager for the Warwick Girl’s Soccer Team and was part of the Warwick Track and Field Team. She is a member of the National Honor Society. She plans on attending Towson University, majoring in exercise science. She will continue to participate in track and field while at college. Her ultimate goal is to become a physical therapist. Her fondest memory of high school is winning the state title with the girls track and field team.
Meghan Elizabeth Quinn
Meghan is the daughter of Dennis and Anne Quinn. She is being escorted by her father Dennis. In her senior year, Meghan played field hockey and participated in track and field. She was a track team captain and an indoor track state champion in the 60-meter dash. Her track team was the indoor track state runner-up team. In her senior year, she was listed as a field hockey academic all-star and was nominated for the A. Landis Brackbill Scholarship. Meghan was a member of the UNITE club and is a member of the National Honor Society. She has been an altar server at St. James Church for 8 years. Meghan plans to attend Bucknell University to major in psychology and continue her track running career. Her fondest memory from high school is winning the 2019 outdoor track and field state team championship alongside her best friends.
Piper Milham Van Dore
Piper is the daughter of Jon and Ragan Van Dore. She is being escorted by her father. Piper played for the Warwick Girl’s Soccer Team and the Warwick Lacrosse Team, for which she was team captain. She was a member of Interact, Future Business Leaders of America and the Lititz Leo’s Club. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Art National Honor Society, and English National Honor Society. Piper plans to attend Penn State University to major in architecture. Some of her fondest memories of high school are going to football and basketball games and spending time with her friends.
Jasmine Lynn Weaver
Jasmine is the daughter of Eric and Amy Weaver. She is being escorted by her father. Emily played soccer for the Warwick High School. She was a member of the National Honor Society, for which she was secretary, the German National Honor Society and the English National Honor Society. She works at Sugar Whipped Bakery in downtown Lititz. Jasmine is also very involved with the children’s ministry at Reformed Presbyterian Church in Ephrata. She is planning to attend York College of Pennsylvania after high school to study engineering. Her fondest memories are all of the science projects she was able to attend through the National Honor Society.
Liliana Grace Weidman
Lily is the daughter of Neil and Barb Weidman. She is being escorted by her father. Lily was team captain for the Warwick Girl’s Soccer Team. She also continues to play club soccer with AFC United. She was Co-Vice President of the Interact Club and Co-President of the History Club. She is a member of the National Honor Society, English National Honor Society, and Spanish National Honor Society. She also participates in the Lititz Leo’s Club. Lily is a member of LCBC Church. Lily plans to attend Lebanon Valley College, where she will major in Early Childhood Education and continue her soccer career. Some of Lily’s favorite high school memories include spending time with her friends and attending sporting events.
Adalynn Grace Dullinger (Flower Girl)
Adalynn is the daughter of Joe and Amy Dullinger. She was a student in Mrs. Harrick’s class at John Beck last year. Adalynn enjoys creating and crafting, drawing and reading. Her favorite subject in school is Writing. Adalynn loves spending time with her family and playing with her sisters. She is a member of St. James Catholic Church. Adalynn was involved in Girl Scouts and Dance and is looking forward to playing soccer next year.
Owen Brian McClenahan (Crown Bearer)
Owen is the son of Brian and Kirsten McClenahan. He was a student of Mrs. Morell at John Bonfield School. Owen has a curious nature and loves to read and explore. He especially loves to read about nature and history. Owen loves to learn new tricks on his skateboard, ride bike, build with LEGO’s and spend time outside exploring nature. He was excited to participate in the 2019 Warwick School District Elementary Cross Country Meet as well as the Lititz Rec Center Youth Triathlon. He misses his first grade friends and the rest of the Bonfield Bees family.
Jocelyn Brechbill (2019 Queen of Candles)
Jocelyn Brechbill is a rising sophomore at Temple University studying Journalism at Klein College of Communication and Digital Marketing at Fox School of Business. At school, she is a writer for Refine Magazine, the Stars Coordinator for Every Nations Campus college ministry, and a member of Freedom Church Philadelphia where she serves on the children’s ministry team. This summer she is working at Harvest Lane Farm Market as a sales, management, and marketing assistant. Jocelyn is honored to be here supporting a handful of the incredible girls in Warwick’s class of 2020.
